普通器材下，基本上用Direct Sound 已經足夠了
除非用上貴價器材，這時要用到 WASAPI 了
當然ASIO會是最好的方法，只不過有時會出現ASIO與硬體不相容的問題
fbar原版最多可以講只係好過千千 winamp, 用佢係因為免費, 方便同功能多
對比其他diy player, studio softw ...

I am a newbie to CAS. I am experimenting different options. I just want to know which of the following options sound better.
a) Play directly from CD (Marantz Pearl Lite CD Player)
b) Convert the music from CD into uncompressed format (e.g. wav)and play the music through foobar 2000 and connect to an external DAC (Marantz Pearl Lite CD Player also support external option)
c) Convert the music from CD into uncompressed format and play through some sudio software and of course connect to an external Marantz DAC

For playing Red Book CD, then play CD directly la. i.e. option (1)
But if you have hundreds of CDs, and want to choose song from iPad/Android/etc. remote device, then CAS is the way to go.

我之前用的是KS，想试ASIO，但不知怎的使用不了，但昨天却莫名其妙又用到了，比较KS，初听感觉HIFI很多，但慢慢感觉有点冲，暂时听感就这样。

就算我起房用 EMU-0404 USB + headphone 聽歌，唔用 ASIO or WASAPI， 不如唔聽。{:6_142:} （FYI, 小弟用的是foobar)

應該USB input 就唔係俾你插電腦用....就算得，都只有48/16，問題係USB Input 果度可能做得未夠好。
