我原來都不信唔同hdmi線會對聲音有分別。
有次唔覺意（因此沒有先入為主的問題）調轉兩條hdmi線來用，發覺點解部機D聲唔同晒？
原來個條D聲係散D，唔覺意用左個條D聲厚D，bass重D。分別實在太明顯了。

The article does point out an important point in Dolby and DTS. They have error correction.
Surely they should have, as no communications channels are of good use without error correction especially for such high speed transmission.
The question is : do they guarantee 100% error free during signal transmission? If there is only one bit error within the allowed time constraint, do they still allow to output the signal to the receiver, or do they then interrupt the transmission as said in the article?
In a really noisy environment when there are lots of bit errors, they should stop the transmission. But when there are just a few bit errors, will their error correction mechanism attempt to correct those most significant bits first so as to allow the major shape of the signal to be re-constructed? Under such situation, will some details be lost in the reproduction?
