i'm not any expert giving conclusion about the CA AV amp, personally think,
the 650R is quality build. i love how its simply design, and the inner layout so clean.
the back of it has plenty of inputs and outputs for different sources included Pre-out
however, shame it lacks of HDMI In/Outputs , Only 3 in 1 Out.

Dolby True HD and DTS-HD Master supports enough for me to use.
so it's not an issues for me, compared many other AV amps provided many Sound effect features.

as a 2.0/5.1 i am very pleased it performances,  the power & the sound very promising.
ps* i haven't tried 7.1 not sure how it's drive 7 speakers together)
for the price around 7K as the time i brought, i have no regret !!
perhaps it will be awesome if it set with 650BD
may it helps little.
