究竟Smyth Realiser是什麼東東?
簡單來說, 只要你帶著他去朋友屋企或者Showroom
經過一些自動量度的程序之後,
將對方的系統抄過來
再透過耳機進行一些量度
以後安坐家中, 便可以透過自己的耳機 (不是耳塞) 聽到對方的系統.

小弟之前有用開Pioneer 5.1 耳機系統
近年SONY也有推出7.1耳機系統
此等耳機內置DTS/DD解碼
但始終沒有高清音效
亦由於耳機質素所限
效果始終與真實的5.1/7.1系統相差很遠

小弟今個月從美國訂購了Smyth Realiser
目前剛試過對自己屋企的系統分別進行2聲道及7.1聲道之量度
用耳機聽根本係完全無分別, 除了Bass的下潛感不夠隻PC13 ultra強之外
我開頭直頭以為自己係聽緊喇叭
係到左除左耳機才驚覺原來聽緊耳機.
如果真的嫌Bass不夠也可以外接Subwoofer.

量度過程:

首先將Amp接到Realiser, 將Realizer附的耳塞放到耳內 -
此耳塞並非用來聽歌, 而係一個量音器,
再按Realizer上的Calibration, 喇叭便會發出一些類似Auto MCACC的聲音
此時會叫你將頭面向中間, 左邊及右邊喇叭,
不夠一分鐘就完成量度. Realizer亦配備不同的耳棉供選擇.

耳機量度:

之後繼續戴住個耳塞咪, 再戴埋個耳筒上去,進行耳筒量度,
不需數十秒系統便完成耳筒調教, 用家亦可以選擇用Realizer的Headphone jack直出
或另接Headphone amp. 像我今次便是使用 SR009所以一定要外接Amp.

Head Tracker
Realizer附有Head Tracker, 裝在Headphone 上方, 再將感應器裝在電視上方
當你個頭郁的時候音場也會因而改變, 就像你在真實影院中轉頭一樣.

究竟值唔值?

這個"SVS"的品牌並非我們熟悉的Subwoofer品牌
而是位於L.A.的一個工作室.
Smyth Realiser 其實推出已有兩年
但鮮有人問津
其價錢是一個因素
但兩萬多港元的價錢,
是否值得?

雖然量度是需要一定過程, 但熟習一次之後便很容易進行量度,
而耳筒量度的過程只需要做一次,
之後你只需要帶著體積輕巧的Realizer四圍去Showroom和朋友屋企,
便可以將對方的音場完全抄過來,
可以說是完全改寫家庭影院的概念,
如果你自己一個或兩個人睇戲多 (可接兩耳筒)
咁就真係可以喇叭都賣埋...
Realizer有HDMI但並無內置解碼,
2聲道可以直接Analog入
7.1/5.1則要由Bluray機或AV Amp先將DTS HDMA/ DD True HD解做PCM之後
經HDMI輸入Realizer.

而家外國已經有一班玩家在一些高級電影院包場使用Realizer量度
其中包括L.A.的AIX,
唔知香港有無類似的戲院或Studio可以做到?
另外如果有師兄已擁有高級影院系統,
又想試下呢舊野係咪真係咁堅,
我好樂意帶埋舊野上黎你屋企俾你試,
順便抄埋你個系統

it sounds fantastic, do we need any speacial headphone to match with this realiser or we can do it with any headphone.....by the way, how much is this gear?????

You can use any headphone, but you cannot use "earplug" type phones. Theoretically you would want a headphone with good soundstage and details to maximize the potential of the Realizer. Apart from Stax, the HD800 should be a good choice for it. But even you don't want to buy 10K+ headphone for the Realizer, it should sound great with any headphone thanks to the Headphone EQ function that comes with it. It will automatically adjust the EQ of your headphone to match the room environment during the calibration.

thanks for you infromation, brother...I got a DT990 from Beyer only, since it is not a high-end headphone but I love its sounds so much, soundstage no doubt an advantage of it, do you think the realiser can drive the DT990 well???Mine one is the 600ohm version, last, May I know how much is the realiser???

Do you already have a headphone amp? You can connect the Realiser to your headphone amp, even portable amp is fine, just use a RCA to 3.5 mm cable. The Realiser is HK$20K+.
