Any way to tell if run-in is done properly? I know there should be a hidden menu in the firmware to tell the number of hours it has been running, but I don't know how to tell if run-in is proper.

I did check out a display 3 months ago in JustXo, it was a VT20 asked for $!())), again with 5 years warranty, only come with 2 pair of 3D glasses, and they will only show me the running hours after they delivered not before.
If you think that is ok, again that is a good price better then the one I saw!!!!
