I don't think you will notice any difference even you use expensive power cord. Rather than investing in power socket and power cord, I will ensure 2 things:
(1) A quality HDMI cable, esp. if its length exceeds 10m. Use silver-coated cable to minimize signal loss. Go for some confident brand such as Audioquest, TTL, etc.
(2) A stable and noise-reducing power supply. Personally, I connect my projector to my PS Audio Power Plant Premier (a power re-generator) which provides clean electrical power with a very low THD. You can use whatever power conditioner of your choice. This helps to minimize video noise.
By the way, projector does not like 2-channel - it is less sensitive to cabling material.
