See if the following helps:
1) 電視牆 地到頂約8.5尺, 寬8尺, 應該用幾多寸的莫, (呢個寸數是不是對角斜的寸數) ?
As a matter of reference: THX recommendation on viewing angle is 26 - 36 degrees. These angles correspond to a viewing distance that varies between 2.17 and 1.54 times of the screen width (remember it's width, not diagonal). So, how large should your screen be? That's depends on your viewing distance. You can use a simple arithmetic to calc your preferred screen size. For example, if your viewing distance is 9 feet (108") and you aim for 36 degree of viewing angle (that's what I do), your screen needs to have width = 108 / 1.54 = 70". If you're using 16:9 screen, that means its diagonal is 80". Based on experience, don't go smaller than 36 degrees of viewing angle. A little bit larger is ok (e.g. 40 degrees) - but not too large, otherwise you might have headache to watch a so big screen (just like you sit at the first row in a cinema). Any way, it's a personal preference. It's just a general guideline.

It's better you determine the screen first. Different brand and model may have large variation on the size of the casing.
3) TV牆到裝投影機的距離約20尺, 要預幾長的HDMI線?
Assuming you have difficulty to determine the length because of your uncertainty about the location to install the projector (otherwise it's just simple to find out how long should it run from your AMP to the projector). The sweet spot of installation might be determined by the brand and model of your projector. In general, closest to screen (min. throw distance, max. zoom) will give you brighter image but less contrast; while farther away from screen (max. throw distance, min. zoom) will give you a dimmer image but highter contrast ratio. The sweet spot of your installation is (partly) determined by the brand and model of your projector, as well as its placement flexibility option such as how much lens shift that it's capable of.
4) 要預幾多條HDMI線? BD>投影一條 , TV > 投影一條 , 對不對?
You are better to get an AV AMP and connect BD -> AMP; TV -> AMP; and then one long and high quality HDMI cable from AMP -> Projector. This helps to bring down your cost on HDMI cable (long and good HDMI cables are expensive), as well as gives you more flexibility on viewing your video source via the projector (e.g. connect iPhone/iPad to your AMP and then display on the projector).
5) HDMI線大約買D幾錢尺果D?
Go to some famous brands that give you confidence that it will work, e.g. Audioquest, TTL, etc.
6) 還有什麼什麼???
Your room. Playing with projector is the same playing around with your room setup, because ambient light and reflexive surface (wall, ceiling, etc.) will impact the image quality very very much - but sometimes you cannot do much about it. |
