Dear Hon,

It seems the Blu-ray selling at Zavvi are region 2 (Region code B) while Hong Kong is under Region A.  How these BD can be play in Hong Kong?

They usually mark them all region B.
There are about 100 stocks in my cupboard from zavvi. Region B counts less than 15 percent. So It really depends.

You could do cross-checking the specifications with other sites such as bluray.com
It's a relatively reliable one.




The cross checking works as follows.

Example A:  You are looking for "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" in zavvi











Go to bluray.com, you can also find it, in which it's shown "Region Free". Same as what Zavvi claims.









Example B:  You are looking for "Farewell My Concubine" in zavvi











Go to bluray.com, you can also find it, in which it's shown "Region B (locked)".
