Any ching using CHT-8R or similar subwoofer, please Help!
1) What's the use of "Low Pass Crossover" switch and "High Pass Crossover" switch at the back?
2) What's the best volume level setting?
3) How to set bypass?
4) Should I use "Y" connector to connect the subwoofer from Amp?
Please help if any ching has any good suggestions, thanks.

1.) Low Pass Crossover might set to 100hz or 80hz or direct (it is controlled by your av amp's setting)...high pass crossover set at 100hz also
2.) no best volume level...based on your favourite....or refer to sound meter 75db
3.) seems no bypass setting
4.) upto your feeling...try it by yourself...one to two connect would have more power by my experience.

Thanks for your quick reply.
1 & 3) So, if I set the Low Pass Crossover to direct, is it the same as bypass as well? I am a bit confused.
2) If I use the sound meter, should I set all the 5.1 speakers to 75db?

I think yes for 1. and 3. because av amp would not send the signal below 100hz to the subwoofer (if u set your av amp lfe at 100hz), the high pass crossover should be used in integrated amp.
2.) some like to set the subwoofer at higher than 75db when the other 5 speakers set at 75db...it depends on what level of low frequency u want to get.
for 2) you can set level 30 to 40 on your subwoofer, and tune the volume on amp around 75db to 80db

2) normally after I use auto setup by Denon 1910 amp, the channel level for subwoofer is always -12.00db. For reference, other speakers are ranged from -3.5db (front) to -10.00db (surround). Should I change all to 75-80db?

it is different things wo...db at your amp seting for speakers is different db result from sound meter.
i think your amp auto setup not accurate. if you don't have sound meter, trust your ears to set. you may try to reduce your subwoofer volume by your subwoofer remote first.
