How about Dell Precision Laptop, which high lighted with "Work Station Level". They comes with powerful Hardware, ExpressCard, Firewire & eSATA. But the price ....

I already using I7 for Dell both laptop and workstation but the mainbroad design is poor, they are not individual channel. I.E. when a high performance device attached and it will draw nearly all resources and even other ports(e.g. USB 3.0 or Esata) cannot give high performance.

Yes. That is the weak point of the "All-in-One" and Bulit-in machine, so that whythere are many high-end or server grade PCI card for Hardware RAID, FW, USB, eSATA in the market.

I think it is hard to find a Laptop to fit your case, all of them just to fulfil the equipment not about preformance.

    其實 notebook 都係為左 portable. 你要既所謂 server grade notebook 都幾難俾到你. 仲有. 如果專業玩家就係專業. 鑽石係唔係真係鑲鑽.....

其實laptop portable 之餘也可以有performance; 要與時並進,不可留在old school. 只是現在可能要天價才做到. 現在digital cameras resolution increasing and medium digitalback become proper, 要户外check 拍攝效果,要等transfer 到PC ,簡直waste time.

IT tech. 現在無以前發展咁快,但我也可能睇漏眼,希望有高手知道, 不知道的可以不回.
