alix board is built in Taiwan, actually the software is only US$0.99, a nominal charge for the open project.

Voyage MPD是network player(FAS)的一種，是行Linux的平台.

結構上似LINN但不似SBT(SBT可以讀USB手指,但不能直讀NAS的music files). 是可以直讀USB手指或經一條USB去DAC.

Iphone/IPad裝了remote client後就可以連接Voyage MPD 選歌.

要經Mac或PC remote去Voyage MPD先設定 NAS mount point (即連接NAS 的 shared network drive). 設定完成後MPD就可以經Wif/LANi到NAS讀Music file然後decode去DAC.

No,
I just store music files in Synology NAS.
May I ask for Voyage MPD Starter Kit, does it come with a DC power supply? Many ching have such worry as they don't know what power supply to drive the box.

Synology has UPNP function.

it's DIY kit, no power supply attached. Easy to get one in any retail shop, for better quality, buy teradak.
it  also support PoE, power over ethernet

if it have ram (so dimm slot) and load music file to ram then play , it will perfect !

佢(Voyage Starter Kit)有256M RAM, 我試過可以叫 MPD 介64M 用嚟做 buffer, 可以播之前先打滿 buffer.
你當然唔可以用晒256M, 因為Voyage 本身都要用, 但64M 佢一定有.

audio_buffer_size <size in KiB>
    This specifies the size of the audio buffer in kibibytes. The default is 2048, large enough for nearly 12 seconds of CD-quality audio.
buffer_before_play <0-100%>
    This specifies how much of the audio buffer should be filled before playing a song. Try increasing this if you hear skipping when manually changing songs. The default is 10%, a little over 1 second of CD-quality audio with the default buffer size.
