Int amp power consumption

two int amp:

A. Class A tube amp - output 18W, power consumption 260w
B. L505u - output 140W (4Ω), power consumption 210W

Does the Class A tube amp with power consumption 260w demand more power than L505u ?which means a power cord which is more "powerful" is better ?

I think this figure just the theoritical power consumption figure. For example, my Luxman 507u just 60-70w when I use at home. Even I turn volume louder it just goes to almost 70w. I think for tube amp, since some power has to be used for heating of the tubes, the power consumption should be a bit more.

The loud volume is a sound level that I will not turn normally, otherwise I mustreceive warning letter from the neighbors.

    thanks for reply ... i just amend my question as my tube amp is Class A ... so regardless of volume output, would class A tube amp demands more power consumption based on my data above ? {:1_332:}
