我都係之前睇hiface個FAQ，佢地話光纖的physical limitation係96kHz，所以唔會出usb to optical

    其實如果冇保養又如何? 都只係一年保養, 你可以用一年, 一年後保養過左先 mod.

To make sure you needed i2S:
1) Since i2S was originally use for internal signal transmission, use as an external connection there will be a length limitation, maximum 0.5M only.
2) The benifit of i2S is direct in/out of signal with the DAC chip, therefore modding a DAC with i2S input may need to give up all functions such as upsampling of the DAC, depend on difference circuit design.
3) As still no standard of i2S connector, therefore no factory made i2S cable, all i2S cables only could be DIY, performance vary due to materials and craftmanship, sound quality have no reference standard which you could not know the cable sounds right, or imporived, or just make chages, cost from under $100 to no upper limit.
