You may change CD power cord first, you can consider the group buy Cliff Audio:

Although the group buy expired, but just expired few days, you can try email ask if can add one order, just 1pc I think should be fine.
After change the CD power cord, burned-in, take some seriuos audiotion again, then tell us what you wanna change: warmer? Faster? or else, don't too many items at the same time.
