For DIY of cable to plug, YES, US plug is much easier to mount than UK plug.
唉~~ 雖然可能係潑冷水, 不過點都要提一提你, 喺香港用美式有咩事保險係唔會賠嘅.

不過話說回頭，US plug就係少條fuse ，少個位可能導致衰聲。
留意美國行110v 電比香港同英國行220v無咁易電死人。
香港玩美式電保險亦唔保，的確美式線比英式多選擇，但唔代表一定好聲。唔通喺美國玩一定會好過喺英國玩？

除了符合本港條例，UK pulg條13A fuse其實係為左保護蘇座，插頭及電源線，避免電流過荷時產生嘅高熱力，燒毀提及物品，而引致火警。
很少家居電器使用時會超過2820w(13A x 220V)，所以亦很少出現燒插頭13A fuse, 而合規格嘅蘇座，插頭及電源線，一定可以負荷耗電量2820w或以下之電器，所以無fuse嘅插頭，正確使用應該安全！

well, i did have the experience that my home's electric box was nearly burnt out ... simply due to aging problem (used over ten years).thanks God that the electric box was replaced on time when fuse was off frequently ... {:1_248:}
