CAS really cool. I dont know whether it is the good method or not, I can now use my ipad as a remote for selecting songs. {:1_259:}

Download the WASAPI component from foobar 2000 website, unzip it and put it in the sub-folder of foobar, when you re-start foobar you have to select "WASAPI" in the output settings, it should be easy.

thx for your reply. I have already downloaded & unzipped it. But it has an error message when I ty to put it in the sub-folder of footbar. Do you have any screen shot / site that I can follow step by step. Many thanks!

Usually just unzip the zip file and put it in subfolder of foobar is ok.

thank you advise from kenneth ching, it is more cool to use the apps " remote ' for song selecting using my ipad. I love CAS.{:1_253:}

I think this is because you have opened foobar before. The DLL file that you want to overwrite has already been loaded into memory, so Windows locks the file to disallow anyone update it.
You may try to reboot the PC and don't start foobar after reboot, then try to copy the DLL file again before starting foobar. Hope it works.
Is it simply put the dll file into the root directory of foobar? Thx
