[*]In a few weeks, when Ice Cream Sandwich comes out, every device on here will be another major version behind. [*]At least 16 of 18 will almost certainly never get Ice Cream Sandwich.
雖然有很多廠商都說他們的 Android 手機可以更新，但事實上由於機款太多和硬件變化太大，未必每一部 Android 都可以使用最新的操作系統。有人就把過往 iPhone 和 Android 的主要手機的升級支援，變成上述這個圖表。雖然這以美國為主，但香港也有很多相似的情況。
當中總結了熱賣的手機中，18 部中有 7 部都不是使用最新的 Android 操作系統，10 部仍在兩年合約的手機，其 Android 版本落後於目前的最少有兩個版本。有部份使用較舊版本的Android手機，目前仍在售賣中。相反 iOS 世界中，連 iPhone 3GS 都仍然可以升級至最新 iOS 5。除了Android 用家或會感到麻煩外，還影響程式開發員開發程式。
Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich 快將推出，現時的 Android 手機將會全部落後於一個版本，要待廠商推出更新才可。最慘的是，不是每個廠商都會為手機推出 4.0 更新，最經典例子就是連 Google 親生子 Nexus One 都無得更新。 多謝分享! {:6_193:}{:6_193:} thanks for your sharing mate Thank you,
