香港人對日本車情有獨鐘就眾所周知，不過韓國車在國際間慢慢打響名堂，技術與外型不斷改進，不少車迷就開始留意價廉物美的韓國車，再沒過往般保守。瞄準時機，Hyundai 現代汽車在九龍灣南豐商業中心開設全新的陳列室，同時更推出第五代 Elantra 四門豪華房車，鮮明時尚感的外貌，擁有的是與同級日本車競爭的實力。

第一代 Elantra 在 1990 年延生，至今已經發展到第五代，外型採用「流體雕塑」式設計，將液體的流動性和固體的雕塑感融為一體，展現剛柔並重，動靜皆宜的活力跑味，汽車造型充滿動感和藝術感，流線型車身更能把行車時的風阻降至最低。車頭有現代汽車標誌性的六角形設計鬼面罩，再利用曲面的轉折，散發出凌厲攝人之勢。

輸港的全新 Elantra 是 1.6 公升四汽缸引擎版本，在 6,300rpm 時可輸出最高 130 匹馬力，在 4,850rpm 時可提供 160 牛頓米扭力。雖然沒有強勁的馬力，但卻最適合現時油價不斷上升的香港市場，裝上自家研製的六前速自動波箱，加上引擎比以往更輕，令起步更快之餘，還同時減少耗油量。

全新 Elantra 車長為 4，530mm，寬為 1,775mm，軸距為 2,700mm，高度降低至 1,445mm，但不影響車廂頭部空間，整體車廂空間比上一代擴大 18 公升。內籠設計同樣源自「流體雕塑」，LCD 顯示器的弧形銀色裝飾片一直伸延至中央頂部，表板面顯著呈現液體的立體感，鋼琴烤黑飾板的彎曲線條，則展現出風的柔順。在安全性方面，榮獲澳州 ANCAP 撞擊測試中最高的五星安全評級，標準安全設備 ABS 、BA 煞車輔助技術、EBD 電子動力分配系統外，更加入了先進的 VSM 車輛穩定控制系統和 6 個安全汽袋，以車價論車，Hyundai Elantra 幾對物超所值。

十六萬幾真係幾價廉物美喎！不過唔知二手市場又點呢？ 的確好多野都追近日本.....
包括價錢{:6_180:} 香港車市同美加好唔同, 人地有四個轆有冷煖氣識郁就ok.
香港地點都睇你開乜牌子, 無論乜年份...BMW, BENZ...都感覺高上....下HYUNDAI
二手市場唔好諗啦, 濺賣你唔肯, 一般折舊又無人吼. 根定你一世. 十六萬幾買韓國車一啲都唔平！
冇二手市場呢個死穴已經夠死！ Hyundai喺香港嘅line-up弱都不得了, 喺北美呢邊唔止Elantra. 好似Sonata, Veloster, Accent周街都可以見到.{:6_180:}
