Check Version
Remove any disk from the player and close drawer do not put player into standby.
Turn the player off using the small power button.
Turn the player on while at the same time pressing both " PLAY " and "OPEN/CLOSE" at the front of the player. Keep these buttons depressed till OPEN appears on the display. then on the remote control press in sequence "3" "2" "6" "5". Then on the remote control press "MENU" repeatedly to read out firmware version.
