I'm totally unfamiliar with this material -- never listened to any Choi Kam songs from this era. In general this sounds good and engaging and quite certain that there is huge improvement in sound -- if I understand it correctly Haisan recordings must be one of the worst from Taiwan! This CD is a pleasure to listen to.
But I'm quite surprised by the uneven sound between different tracks despite this being a remix -- I suppose the original sound on the 2" multitrack masters is very uneven. Also, I'm surprised the reverb treatment over each track varies greatly -- for a modern remix. Some of the tracks still sound very Taiwan-early-1980s-ish.

One more point (but I am uncertain):
I have a feeling the last track is running a bit too fast. I checked against my piano and it seems to be a bit too sharp. But since I don't have perfect pitch hearing (best to get a well-trained violinist for that purpose), and piano is not a good way to check pitch accuracy (12-tone equal temperament in play), I think I cannot say for certain.
Small tape speed error is very common for material from Taiwan around that period. Many Teresa Teng recordings made for Life Records have speed errors. Maybe the same case here -- but I wish I am wrong, and I apologize if I am indeed wrong!

但我很驚訝之間不均勻的聲音不同的軌道,盡管這是一個混合——我認為原始聲音2”multitrack大師已經非常的不均勻。另外,我非常吃驚,在每條賽道上有不相同的治療——現代混合。一些軌跡仍然聽起來很臺灣- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - 1980年代早期廢物。
