just bought BDP-51FD today & upgrade the firmware to 1.17,watch a movie and seems everything working normal

都好多網友出呢部 BDP-51FD ，似乎好正咁!
when i bought mine yesterday,another ching buying 51FD too,
first impression,(i only have dts 5.1 headphone via co-axial digital out),the sound effect is quite exciting,colour seems quite balance
the most items i find more user friendly is 51fd except IEC powercords,no need to use 8 adapter

May I know if your BDP-51FD is "hong" or parallel imported product ?
After you upgrade the firmware to 1.17, is it still region free for playing DVD ?
Could you let me know where you downloaded the firmware 1.17 ?

my 51FD is hong goods,try region 2 dvd,play ok,but i think my chance of watching dvd now is slim,:lol
