First there's a new Planet Earth: Special Edition (SRP $79.98 and $59.98). All the previous DVD special features will carry over to both formats, plus there are new extras including audio commentary on select episodes, 4 featurettes (Great Planet Earth Moments, Snow Leopard: Beyond the Myth, Secrets of the Maya Underworld and Elephant Nomads of the Namib Desert), a music only viewing options and a sneak peek at executive producer Alastair Fothergill's forthcoming next project: Frozen Planet. Plus there's a new Limited Edition on both formats (SRP $99.98 and $79.98) that includes the Special Edition discs in a "globe" package along with exclusive art cards.
