oppo 95 setting

hi , everyone, I have a few questions about the setting of oppo BDP95. Firstly, do I need to set my speakers in speaking setting (I mean in blu-ray) if I only use HDMI connection. What is the best setting for the screen (contrast, colour saturation...) Is the setting vary for different TV?. Also Is there any cailbration disc that I can used to set my TV and blu-ray player.

No need to set speaker configuration in your oppo if you are using hdmi.

Do not make any adjustment to the picture settings in your oppo such as contrast, color, etc.This should be adjusted in your tv with the help of a calibration disc.

For calibration disc, I recommend Digital Video Essentials (DVE) HD Basics, which also come with a red/green/blue filter for you to adjust Color and Tint settings properly.

You can also download a free HD calibration patterns from the following website, burn it into a DVD and play it in your oppo95 for HD calibration (remember to download the manual from the same webpage as well).
