Play BD ISO PC requirement
What's the requirement to play BD ISO?I've 2 PC almost the same:
PC1
Video Card: ATI Radeon HD4350
Current RAM: 1G x 2
CPU: Intel Core 2 Duo E4600, LGA775, 2.4GHz,
Mainboard: Asus P5K
PC2
Video Card: PowerColor ATI Radeon HD5450 512M DDR3
Current RAM: 2G (DDR2 800 A-DATA) x 1
CPU: Intel Core 2 Duo E4500 LGA775, 2.2G,
Mainboard: Asus P5KPL/EPU
I play BD ISO file in PC1 under 1080p, its smooth. But play the same file on PC2 over PowerDVD8 is a bit 窒, play the file by PowerDVD10 is very 窒 to a level that cannot be acceptable.
So, for PC2, should I:
1. Upgrade CPU
2. Upgrade RAM
3. Forget about the PC and get a Media Player as upgrading the CPU will cause me at least $600+?
Thanks!!!! you play the BD ISO or disk? BD player/ Media Player would be my choice.

I used Daemon Tool, its a freeware. But don't forget to turn on the "Advance Emulation" mode, otherwise it won't be able to detect BD. 回復 6# law1987
Well... at the end, I changed the CPU to Core 2 Duo E6500, 2.93G, the situation improved, but still a bit of lag when its comes to a fast moving action scenes. So, I add 2G RAM more. Now everything is smooth and perfect! 2G ram唔係好夠 yea... so after upgraded the CPU, I have upgraded the RAM to 4G now. Everything is smooth now.
