    I bought it from Radio -------- Co. Ltd. - 阿_無綫電, in fact, I did not open the box in the shop nor I didn't even try the sound in any shop regarding this LX83, I only trust the brand and the recommandation from Ching in here. Other than that, I do not think there isn't much to take care except looking at the adhsive tape around the box and see if it had been open before.
