Oppo 83 SE firmware

is Oppo 83 and Oppo 83 SE using the same firmware? where can download the new firmware?

Yes, both are same firmware. If your unit is Chinese version, u can go http://www.oppodvd.com.hk/ to check the available firmware.

I brought 83 at my mentioned website, the language of OSD manual has simply Chinese. I don't know US version has simply Chinese or not, if you check, please let me know also.

The latest Firmware:
Chinese Version: BDP83C-09-0816 (August, 2010)
US Version: BDP83-55-0226 (March, 2011)

If your 83SE is US version, you only can use US Firmware
If your 83SE is Chinese version, you only can use Chinese Firmware

The US Firmware is more powerful and stable than Chinese Firmware.
