I'm also on the way thinking either a Mac book pro or Windows notebook to start my CAS.Is using Toslink the best quality of output and how much difference if only use USB?I still considering notebook running Windows as I'm completely newbee in Mac also need to reserve the Windows for my daughter's online homework, although I know Windows still could be installed in Mac using dual-boot software. 回復sunnyyuen

CAS 我的感覺是用MAC機最好，在set up 上容易和穩定，光纖總好過UBS線！ 版主部303T好正呀

over HK$30000.00 MAC機好既地方只係佢跟機已有原生Firewire罷了... 沒有特別優勢, 而且, 機仔細細, 乜都係埋一堆, 對聽歌仔黎講, 反而較差 (機件之間既干擾係要面對的!!!).再且, OSX既特別優勢已經無以前咁明顯, Win7為左聽歌仔都改左唔少野, 仲有Linux OS都有好野~~~ 至於光纖, 因為要經過多重轉換, 反而咁仲差左...
