Will ching considers Tube integrated amp.? You can get integrate amp with AV-bypass for about 6k, and I think the sound quality get great improvement.
5008我未玩過唔知...不過估計佢唔可以BY PASS當純後級, 當然, 同PURE AUDIO OR DIRECT 一樣有聲出.. ...

Thats exactly the typical problem for most of the peoples.
Me too! What I am using now is to play movie via the BDP (HDMI) >AV Amp via pre-out> to integrated amp (with AV bypass, it then acts as a power amp) > front speaker for movie.
In this case, teh AV amp is still driving the other speakers except the front speakers.
When playing music - BDP or CDP > integrated amp > speakers (2 channels for music).
The condition is your AV amp should has a pre-out and the integrated amp should has an AV-bypass. In this case, you will be 前石後膽!

我明師兄前石後膽，但這樣前L,R 便用膽推，我Q700是座地，要大力才推到，大力2ch amp 可能好貴，還有看blu-ray 便浪費了5008，還是前膽後石好

呢部前級相當經典,當年紅極一時,幾千蚊膽前不二之選
如果聽下人聲,三幾件樂器,300B係幾正,但輸出一般得8W,如果要獲得華麗音場,要配合高效率喇叭,好似KLIPSCH號角,AUDIO NOTE呢類易推喇叭,否則音場好難發揮出嚟,當然前級都要有番咁上下份量帶動部後級
早幾年300B唔算貴,AUDIO NOTE18K有部300B後級,行銀牛
CANARY AUDIO 26K有一套MONO BLOCK 300B前後級,我用佢嚟推KLIPSCH HERESY II,音場廣闊,聽交響樂都唔會氣喘,不過玩咗兩三年,唔太鐘意高效率喇叭,入門級D聲多數都好瘦,低音係靠聲箱做出嚟,重量不重質

c-hing:你想知5008做唔做到後級好簡單,睇吓机背有冇"main in",那組RCA/XLR就係比前級入的,可能会有其他名詞代替,但多數在Pre Out端子左近!
5008 冇 "main in" ...5508 才有... 5008 only "audio in"
行 Prue Audio mode 已是最接近 "後級"
