If my memory still serve:
5i - ~12K
CD5i - ~15K
Nait XS - ~18K
To tell the difference is really a personal thing. But, from my experience, since I audited 5i and XS together. I chose XS finally because the sound stage is wider, the control ability is much better, esp. playing classical music. I would say, if you bought 5i now, maybe in one year time you will upgrade to XS or 1xx/2xx series. But with XS, you may play around 3 to 4 years before considering upgrade.
CD5i vs CD5XS, again, difference is really there you can notice. The sound analysis is better. Also, CD5XS has digital output that later you can add Naim DAC to improve.
Of course, BUDGET is a main concern. So I would suggest, if you locked XS as the target but not having enough $$, save more $$ first. My personal opinion is buying hi-fi is not like buying in food market. You should have done enough technical and financial analysis before pay out.

無錯,不過以上呢個係公價,我個日去聽,個SALES就係吹風話4月會加價,所以先咁急考慮,或者先買住NAIT XS先,之後再諗!
