If you are talking about HK CDs, there was no choice but to make the CDs overseas.CD production in HK didn't start until the early 1990s.Before the early 1990s, HK CDs were pressed in Japan, West Germany/Germany, USA, Korea, and Australia.Korea T113 CDs started showing up on the market beginning in about 1987.
There are HK CDs that were first pressed in Japan, then later versions pressed Korea (T113 versions).For example, 鍾鎮濤's [最佳鍾鎮濤]....

CDs made in Korea were made by SKC, which purchased the CD making equipment from Philips.Because of this, some Korea made CDs are of 銀圈 design because Philips made 銀圈 CDs in West Germany. 又學到野.

T113 -- <01> on inner ring is only STAMPER number, the stamper can ship to any factory around the world
the only way to tell the pressing line is the little tiny likeifpi 4011 for JVC japan xrcd line
there is NOT way to tell on CD that's the first press. 01.02.03 only stamper number,
the first press can use 02 if the 01 stamper test failed
And very often the first 200cd when start machine simply use for tuning, throw away not use
