We'd like to introduce you to Clear Motion Drive II with a story about the hummingbird - a little unique bird that astounds those who study it. The hummingbird does not fly like other birds - it can fly backward, up, down, and its wings, which move with unbelievable speed, changes angles with each flap.
So, what's the comparison to LCD technology? JVC's exclusive Clear Motion Drive II is the "hummingbird" of LCD Drivers - it does not operate the way other high speed drivers work. It is a revolutionary multi-directional driver that insures our LCD images are always smooth, crystal clear, and void edge blur (except of course, where motion blur was intended).
In October 2005, JVC introduced 120Hz Clear Motion Drive (CMD), the Worlds 1st high speed driver to reduce blurring on LCD panels. Now in 2007, we introduce our 2nd generation, CMD II - the 1st to combine a Full HD 10bit In-Plane-Switching (IPS) multi-directional panel in a stunning new gloss black cabinet. The revolutionary CMD II driver doubles the LCD TV frame rate from a standard 60 to 120 frames per second by inserting a new frame. The result from our driver and panel is the elimination of blurring in all directions, all the time, for a silky smooth picture even for images with rapid movement.
