I got an Oppo BDP-93 Blu-Ray player today and am setting it up with my Onkyo TX-NR3007 receiver. The Onkyo is connected to a Panasonic PT-AE4000 projector. Everything is HDMI. I'm having one problem setting it up, and that relates to how to use the 24 fps frame rate.
The projector's specs say it will accept a 1080p/24 signal
On the BDP-93, I have tried AUTO setting and the ON setting for 1080p/24. In both cases, the resulting output to the projector through my Onkyo is 1080/60 (I'm seeing this by hitting the DISPLAY button on the Onkyo, which displays audio and video original and converted format on the screen). The input (from the BDP-39) is displayed at 1080p/24, and the receiver is converting it to 1080p/60.
I have tried setting the Onkyo to THROUGH in its Resolution setting, which is supposed to throughput whatever signal it gets with no conversion, and I have tried setting it to AUTO, which is supposed to automatically serve the projector with what it supports. In both cases, I'm getting 1080p/60, even when the BDP-93 is outputting 24. If I set the Onkyo to force 1080p/24, the on-screen display that shows audio and video settings doesn't function, so I can't tell what I'm getting.
Should I just give up and use 1080p/60, or is it worth working on this so I can use 1080p/24 for supported material? I'm using the high-quality "Baraka" Blu-Ray to test the system.
Why isn't my Onkyo through-putting the 1080/24 signal to the projector, any ideas? Anyone out there using the BDP-93 with an Onkyo 3007?

另外有時你地睇香港嘅演唱會時，會唔會覺得有時窒窒下丫，
我好多時都有，因為好多時香港嘅演唱會係用50hz，
但我部S350只出到60P或者24P，所以當用60hz播演唱會hz時會有窒嘅問題，
點解我會知，因為我以前有部TviX 6500A player播好幾隻演唱會都係輸出出50I/P嘅畫面，
而出嚟嘅畫面好流暢，完全無窒嘅問題，你可以拎隻"張敬軒unplug"同張學友09演唱會睇下。
我有時睇無線啲韓劇都有呢個問題，唔知係唔係人地用60hz拍。

just kidding, 唔好介意。
其實部5005都仲煲緊，聲畫方面都幾滿意。唯一係我部av amp denon 2809食唔到3D訊號，要hdmi入電視(sony led)，另外同軸入amp, 出唔到HD音效之餘仲要有少少聲畫唔同歩。煩緊換唔換amp好。我又想聽歌好D, 係咪onkyo合適D? 請指教！

你嚇死我，我真係好怕會誤導咗啲網友，
如果想聽歌好啲，馬仔AMP一套西裝都係一個好選擇，
我自己以前用SR7002覺得馬仔睇戲太淋，
但試聽過SR-7005，AV7005+兩部級後，
感覺上馬仔出啲聲比以前硬淨咗，
我相信可以喺睇戲同聽歌上有更好嘅平衡，
當然安穚都係一個唔錯嘅選擇，
不過家下啲安橋好似好貴，
不過買之前真係要自己試清楚先，因為每人口味都唔同。
