用了二個多星期，未發現有 hdd 讀唔到的問題，現有都是 WD (Green, Blue & Black version 都有) & Hitachi.
It all depend on your budget as well as the level of picture quality u can accept. It sounds...

1.Why "Philip" has so bad reputation?I never heard about it before.My first CD player 20 years ago was Philip.
2.I trust your judgement on the quality.But I just wonder why?My understanding of the quality of picture is dependent on the video processing of the chip, not the drive.I presume all BD ROM drives are same, unless some bits are lost, and this will cause machine hang.So, if you say Pioneer BDP is better than N3 BD ROM, I think you are saying "playing a BD disc on Pioneer BDP" has better picture quality than "playing BD ISO on N3", i.e. video processing of Pioneer is better than N3.Never mind about my comment, but just curious of the reason.

I was just comparing the Bluray disc picture quality between the 2 players, not disc vs. files.
FYI, if you can afford a decent Bluray player, like Pioneer 05 or Oppo 93, the picture n audio quality are much better than N3 playing BDMV or BDiso files.

某些HDD開機慢的情况，試試以下方法是否可行：
N3的FW是否4.26.....？
是否用 XP FORMAT 硬盤？(我所有HDD是用XP FORMAT 的，從未試過開機慢的情况)

小弟搵到個方法！ 幾有用！ 部 N3 其實喺好笨的！ 笨嘅意思喺可以呃佢！ 當你個 HD 有新文件佢都會從新掃一次，但喺又唔知自己慢！ 廢話少講...
方法就喺當你覺得佢慢， 就關機，再重新開過部機！ 部 N3 笨到以為自己已經掃過個 HD，所以就正常咁快開機啦！ 我試過所有牌子的 HD 都得！ 希望可以幫到大家！
