頭先見又有新固體(DIY版)加左D網上既LINK喎,一陣又試下先!!! I just bought this (300B+) yesterday, so far very good for the price!!
I have a couple questions hope other chings can help...
Don't know why, I format the internal HDD (just testing with 120GB sata HDD) was able to find it on the network under "Venus" share, copy some files for testing and everything played (have MKV, AVI, RMVB and MP4).Then today I turn on my PC to try to upload more files I lost the HDD share under Venus.I can still see the Venus "PC" but the "HDD share" is no longer inside.I have to reformat the HDD on the player and then the "HDD share" appears again.
Also, when I plug a USB HDD into the back I cannot read or see any files when I browse from the GUI.It says HDD2 Plug-in when I plug the USB but then it cannot see any files in it.Can any ching help please?

the ext HDD was formatted on my PC and copied files onto it through USB.I also tried to format it on the 300B+ but don't know how.it doesn't allow me to do so from the systems tab... it only allows me to format the internal HDD. 我想問問, plus版係咪係 正刀 買, 乜咩價錢左右, thx 我想問問, plus版係咪係 正刀 買, 乜咩價錢左右, thx

I bought my plus version in wanchai, went for around 8xx.

ching，會唔會係你禁錯左呢，我試過晒int同埋ext，我用int既時候係禁落（硬碟）既位置，而如果用ext係禁凡（usb）既位置架喎hdd format我both都係用pc，而且個ext係之前一直都用落既，16gb既usb手指我都試過冇問題，btw，我記得呢度有師兄講過dts hd mstr可以點燈，但係會疾，但係我試過又冇喎，不過唔記得果位師兄講既係300a定係300b/+！- 發送自我的 iPhone 4 ching，會唔會係你禁錯左呢，我試過晒int同埋ext，我用int既時候係禁落（硬碟）既位置，而如果用ext係禁凡 ...

ching, 唔好意思, I meant if I have int HDD installed in the unit then the USB is not working when I attach USB HDD.I never tried the EXT HDD (the EXT sata) if it works.
What do you mean by "會唔會係你禁錯左呢" I don't know if I did or not and not sure how to "unlock" if I did.
Thanks for your help!! can I use the int/ext hd in the hd300b+ for computer backup purposes?
