The 羅文 CD in the first post is called "我的挑選" and is part of the new 華納/EMI金唱片復刻王系列.I am in the US, so I have to order the CD from yesasia.com.It was USD$9.99 (about HKD$77.00), so it will be less than that for you if you are in HK.
Because the name of the CD was "我的挑選", I thought I already have an earlier version on CD....

But no....the 華納/EMI金唱片復刻王 CD of "我的挑選" has more songs that were not on the CD above.Songs like '獅子山下" and "面譜".The sound quality?The new CD is much better.The old CD's sound is very compressed; the new CD has more range and more separation between all the instruments and Roman's voice.
If you like Roman's EMI songs (and who doesn't?), the new CD is a "Must Buy". szeto hing,

Thank you.Lots of Chinese people where I live (from Taiwan/HK/mainland), but less than 3 CD shops.People think I am crazy for buying CDs.
Edit:Just want to say....the original CD of "我的挑選" is a HDCD.I don't have a CD player that can do HDCD, so if you read my description of the sound quality, you may want to think about that.I used a pair of Sony MDR-V6 headphones to listen.The Sony MDR-V6 is a design that is about 25 years old, but it has a professional version called MDR-5706 that's still being used today in recording and radio station studios around the world.No $$$ components at my home. 本帖最後由 Soundboy 於 2011-2-14 15:39 編輯
