Speed of USB Port
I used HD Tune to check the data transfer rate when an external hard disk is connected to my laptop (through a craddle). It is very slow around 10MB/s.However, when I conduct the same test for the internal hard disk of the laptop, it is much fast - around 45MB/s.
Since only external connection through USB is a problem, I suspect there is something wrong with the USB port. How can I test if the USB port is 2.0 or just 1.0?Further, how can I test if the USB driver is correct.
Many thanks in advance.
P.S.I have checked the external hard disk and craddle and they are working fine with other computers at a speed of around 28MB/s 你部laptop 幾時買嫁 如果近呢幾年 都係2.0 It is a Samsung R40 and I bought it 4 years ago. 咁 一定係 usb2.0啦
