upgrade (budget) RCA/power cables?

C-Hings, I am using Gotham 11001 RCA and the original stock power cables (for CD to Pre and from Pre to power amp).

Now, I get good resolution/clarity and the sound is very airy but I want to add more bass and thicker/smoother sound (厚聲).

1) What should I upgrade first? Power or RCA?
2) My budget is under 1k for each item. Has any Ching used these before? Or are there better choices?
