my cheapy philips sacd player can read TIS cd but my CD ...

Dear homantin CHing,
Since you have already got an SACD player to read the TOS CD, why don't you buy a good DAC for better sonic performance during CD playback? Both your CDP & SACD player can be served as transport to connect with a DAC for sound improvement except you need a new blu-ray player for BD playback only.........just my 2 cents!
