Onkyo 708 or 808 ?
Finally, i juz bought a new launch 5.1 system from Cambridge Audio, Minx.http://www.cambridgeaudio.com/series.php?SID=94
Now, I am thinking to buy an AV amp for that system. 30% movie, 70% Music. Dunno Onkyo 708 or 808, coz juz 1k diff. But from spec, 808 only have a higher output and 2 hdmi out which is not so important for my case. 708 or 808? any ching have recommendation ??

Most of the weight difference is because of the internal powersupply.
Certainly to choose 808!!! more power mean more details i can hear or juz larger volume ?? Maybe louder but most important is that the quality of sound will increase a lot.
Why not go to a shop in Mongkok & compare the two.The difference is obvious. Let me go to try try tmw You better hear the difference in the shop than just compare the spec. Finally, i juz bought a new launch 5.1 system from Cambridge Audio, Minx.

I just found this 5.1 set and looks cool!!!
THANKS! 3 Min20 for front and center and 2 min10. Sub is x200 .. my room space is 8 feet x 8 feet .. the performance is great in show room .. but i am now headache to tune it gd in my home. 回復 9# deltasug
