Just my little tips for all c chings reference to save some shipping costs if you are intersted:
I have just placed an order this morning for the "QED Reference HDMI 1m High Speed 1.4 Cable: 2 for £44"
Here is the original order summary:

Shipping £12.77~= HKD 157!!! (£12.77 x 12.37 HKD/GBP)
That sounds quite expensive for only mailing cables, and the shipping cost is almost like 1/3 of the products' price!
- So i called them up just now to see if they can help to arrange a cheaper shipping.
- The staff was very nice and asked if i'm okay with regular air mail (i.e. not registered post), which would cost £7 only.
- The staff further asked me if i want to get the shipment without the original boxes to save on the weight.I said I would like to keep one box so she offered to put both cables into 1 box.She weighted the package again & the shipping cost further drops to £4!! So that's £8.77 (~HKD100) savings on shipping cost!
But of course, that's only if you DO NOT MIND:
i) the shipment is mailed as non-registered post (i.e. regular air mail), so in case the shipment is lost-in-transit then you will have no proof to claim the shop and won't be able to track, that is a risk you need to consider
ii) 1 or all boxes are taken away. i'm okay coz i don't have space in my home to keep both boxes anyway.But i want to keep one for reference as a collection
Hope that helps for those who don't mind i & ii and want to save some $$ on shipping cost.... coz i've been eating 樹皮 and want to save some $$

Oh, really, but I have made order in earlier...
But even I used registered mail, I can trace at Royal Mail but no status of my goods in Hongkongpost.
I saw last status of my goods is
Delivery to HK and pass to Hongkongpost in Sep 29...
But until now, i am still not yet received for my goods...maybe make a query call to Hongkongpost on tomorrow morning. 1M真係短左D

u are right that the tracing doesn't always work if the shipment is international.I have sent mail to the US a few times by registered post, but they never update the tracking status on the US side like your case!! {:1_255:}Because the receiving country are usually not too care updating the status for the sending country's post....{:1_331:}
That's one of the reasons i give up the registered post and rather save $$ from that{:1_352:}
Update: i got email confirmation from Divine just now that they have refunded 11pounds for my order (for using regular air mail). So the
final total charge for my order is 42.45pounds! (~=HKD525 for the 2 cables) seems like not a bad price at all.
Hope i can receive them soon la!{:1_352:} 我些星期訂左，5/10已出貨，我用佢地提供既TRACKING NO. 點解只見royal mail說貨物已寄出，但於hongkong post track時卻沒有資料？有無師兄指點下。thanks.
