換來係比較冷門的美國牌子Cary Audio的Cimema 11a AV processor
睇個series number係 09字頭, 同08字頭的firmware係唔可以共用

拎上手重量比906輕上一半, 只有廿多磅, 但摸落都用料都算幾實淨
配件有圖中的兩個搖控同auto set up用的收音咪, 未有在圖中的收音機天線, 原廠電源線等

今次選上我愛的銀色機身,厚度只有4.5吋, 同一般Blu-ray機厚度差不多
機身按制不是太多合共不到28個, 相當清簡

看看機背, 有8組input可以assign 比 7 組 analog, Toslink, Coaxial 同 1 組XLR
7.1 RCA output 7.1 RCA input 同 7.1 XLR output, 同2入1出的HDMI(真是少得可憐)

安裝十分簡單, 我當然同最快的速度開機試玩啦

睇睇搖控器, 輕漂漂,同部機的身價完全不成正比

反而auto set up的咪不同, 重量十足, 外形似魔鬼魚, 用上XLR接駁

看看說明書, 建議收音咪要放在架上, 但收音咪底部無用來懚固收音咪的鑼絲位, 所以我放棄用auto set up, 用上人手set up好了
而Cary Cinema 11a未有OSD (on screen display), 所有set up資訊都只靠上的板面顯示

做完set up, 發覺有一些小問題, 如前置電流聲, 可以用Bryston 4BST的gound lift掣解決, 而在Cary standby時SVS發出的電流聲可以在不用機時關總制攪掂
這都是可以接受的, 效果要緊
講講聲畫的表現
第一二晚試了很多熟悉的片段, 出來的第一個感覺是兩個字: 失望, 中低頻控制力差
HDMI兼容一般, confirm已用上最新的firmware 1.07.
唯有打電話給代理求救, 在此要讚讚香港的代理, 雖然公司細細, 但服務一流,在了解問題後, 在電話教我先將Cary reset一次
不知道是部Cary 經三日的run in還是reset過, 中低控制力好了很多, 而中置人聲及surround是十分出眾, 而分折力十分強勁,如蜘蛛俠3 街戰小綠魔一段, 原來小綠魔的飛行器除了低頻外還有其他音效, 這是過往906畀不到我
雖然絶大部份的時間只可以用Dolby PrologicIIx來將5.1模擬上7.1, 但效果已經好好
畫質, 因為Cary 亦無任何的video processor, 所以可以話係直入直出, 但出來的效果比經906出還好..真奇怪

Iron Man 2 又是測試超低音的好戲, 15, 16段略嫌飛行時的低頻有少少矇, 可能要換一換sub-woofer的線效果會好些

Jason Borune 第1集 及第3集 測試節奏感及氣氛良好

而2ch效果亦十分好
總結:
如果閣下求操作穩定, 多資多彩的音效, 可能日本品牌會比較合適
但如果閣下求音色, Cary是其中一部值得考慮的純前級, 兩萬到尾的價位, 要買一部歐美機而又有這個表現
當然要trade off, 就是只有2入1出HDMI, 無OSD的問題....但如果為了6入2 出的HDMI而加上同廠的video procressor Cary Cinema 11v值不值呢,
如果我要買video processor的話我會揀DVDO的Edge而不會是11v
每一個system都在每次換掉一件器材後, 要從新配合
今次亦不例外, 我相信之前為配合Onkyo 906的配套, 未必100%合適Cary用
Cary的清及高分析力, Onkyo的厚及衝擊力, 兩者的不同
看來又要在線材上下一番功夫, 相信部Cary的表現會更進一步
真係要多謝的士佬熱心的毒害同電話上的支援令電set up上順利好多
而最後要提提大家, 無必要, 不要上亞二無線電, 特別要小心一位叫"亞智"的sales
如果唔係佢, 我都唔會買呢部Cary, 畀佢毒一毒, 就唔見錢.
但大家想駛錢, 不妨上亞二找亞智, 價未必最好, 但服務態度好好, 亦好交帶
今次本來星期六先送貨, 但早了三日收到, 真係好驚喜.
而Cary香港代理的服務亦好好, 值得一讚..
