急問Cary 11A用家
我想問下各位11A嘅用家, 可唔可以講下你地:-1. 部機係serial number 係 08XXXXX 定係 09XXXXX ?
2. 現時用緊邊一個version嘅friwmare?
3. 使用時有無O的咩大小毛病?
因為可能會下星期入手, 但上去AVS做research時見到部機都幾多bugs, 所以想問下各位前輩意見先

呢個ver. 1.05嘅bug 係我最concern的, 因為有用家燒O左隻speaker

Well the 0db just happened a 2nd time to me last night.
I'm still on v1.05 and will NOT use my 11A anymore until I put on 1.06, and pray that the volume issue has been addressed with it.
Fortunately, this time I was running a Karaoke player ( don't laugh) into the 11A via analog inputs and I was standing right beside the 11A when it happened. Volume jumped to 0db ( no ramp up ) and I immediately turned down the volume knob ASAP. I doubt it was at 0db volume for more than 2 seconds, so I got lucky being right beside the 11A this time.
Here is a curious point -> someone's Blackberry rang/vibrated near the exact moment the volume jumped to 0db. You know how some cel devices will interfere with computer speakers, making them emit a buzzing/static sound. I wonder if that type of cel/radio interference contributed to the 11A going to 0db. It is a suspicious coincidence.
I will give v1.06 a shot. If 0db ever happens again, the 11A will be Audiogon'd with all haste.

好似係畀多2千幾可以support到3D
係就係有O的心陏, 直情係畀錢果隻架啦
但上AVS Forum做research見到O的用家嘅評語都幾負面而令我卻步

I'd go through this thread... I had the 11a about 16 months ago. My experience was negative but you need to decide for yourself. If anyone asks my personal opinion, I tell them I'm not a fan of Cary. hehe

5508硬件上都係用5507一樣
不過5508有呢樣我幾鍾意"Overlaid on screen display GUI and setup menus"

7005 是Receiver，不過當然亦可當 AV Processor 用。
