I only test it for a short time because I am going to move to new house and therefore no time to test it in details.I used balance connection for all 9 speakers, except the 2 subwoofers do not have balance inputs.My first impression of that onkyo 5507+5500 is:
-powerful outputs
-"sound stage" is wide and "sound image" is clear
-bass control is satisfactory, but not wild type
-sharp video image after HQV processing
-Effect of prologic IIz is more obvious than my previous used Denon model
