win7 32bit

I have heard from a friend saying Win7 32bit supports 3.3g ram, same as Vista 32bit
Is that true?
Only 64bit platform can utilize all 4g or more ram, right?

Yes.It is true.Win 32 bit can manage maximum 4GB RAM only (2 to the power of 32) including the memory of display cards and many other RAM in other devices / peripherals.So, in most cases, the remaining main memory in motherboard that Win 32 bit can manage is always less than 4GB.
