Alumni is around 6.5K.If you really confirmed to buy onkyo 508 which is about $3.4K, you may consider to increase the buget little bit more la.{:6_190:} .......or, think think Canton 120MX or 傑士 500 which is below 4.5K......some chings said it's not bad.......{:6_222:}

現有套philips DVD 5.1, 睇dvd時嘅dts 5.1 都收貨 (其實對音質要求唔高及唔會開好太聲)
不過新屋想買套av amp + 5.1, budget 約8k，一定唔可以多過9k
其他原有器材, 厚ps3 (hdmi + 光纖去philips DVD 5.1), wii (av 線去tv), 機頂盒(色差去tv) 及 sony dvd/hdd (with hdmi 但無接線)
因要接wii，想要amp有upscale，好大機會用onkyo 608
依家兩大方案:
1. tx-sr608 + sks-ht528= below 7k 再加 mircopod x 2 做前置行7.1 總約8.5k
2. tx-sr608 + micropod x 4 做前置及後置約7.5k，得1.5k配到d咩中置及十仔?? 2手都ok

In term of budget, I vote option 1 : 608 + ht528 but don't buy micropod for 7.1 now. Or option 2 : micropod x 5 + the rest of budget for 2nd woofer.
I suggest you to place 5.1 now. when u upgrade your sys in near future, buy a better front spk and put existing 2 spk to 7.1.

其實我依家諗玩住5.1先...不過micropod外形同ching們嘅comments都唔差，好想買......但做中置個形又好似唔多啱擺
除非1.5k配到中置及十仔.....否則好大機會買ht528，之後唔再嚟上76依度，免得俾人毒

I have a very little budget same as Ching .I bought a micropod as center and back and a cheap cheap 2 rd woofer.
