How about if add another amp to push center speakers, will it improve sound quality. because I have the same problem, I already increase the center channel to +1.0db and sometime while I watch Blu-ray movies the volume is sooo low is very hard to hear, but if i increase the volume to +2.0db the voice will have high pitch and lost quality, that why I leave it to +1.0db.
BTW I am using B&W HTM1 for center speaker, thinking about buying emotiva XPa-5 later this year, hope it will improve my center speaker sound quality.

如果你用B&W 嘅HTM1 我好相信你要加部好大力嘅power amp先可以推得隻中置好
我都覺得中置要較大少少先出，我好多時 test 既時候用耳聽係一致，
但係一睇戲中置總係好似細聲左 d ，我而家都要將佢 +2 或 +3 感覺至平均 ~ ... {:1_260:}

其實可以做個小測試...
試吓張5 個channels back to normal...(假設set返去75dbc 或者用Hi-Vi DVD 飛機前後個 chapter去set)
當完成後,你隨意播隻bd or dvd,但其間要 turn off subwoofer.
你就可以聽吓用咩volume,中置對白合你滿意....
當你搵到適合既volume,你就可以turn on subwoofer...
介時你就知咩事...

睇你鍾意用咩方法~
其實Hi-Vi DVD,都可以唔用 meter情況下去set五隻speaker至平衡.
