For my cable...
red + pink : signal +
white + ivory: ground -
Shield/screen: connected with ground of source side (reserved flow direction to the signal)

Is the shield/screen connected to the ground -ve on one end only ?

Ching, when you say connect the screen to the ground of source side.. but I cannot see you tap out the screen wire in your photo? So How do you connect the screen wire to the ground exactly? Really would like to know, would you please enlight me on this?
