please give some opinion

I am currently using naim (Integrated amp) and proac 1sc for listening to music and watching movies and concerts.
I would like to buy an av amp and two front speakers and one center speaker solely for movies and concerts and I have the following questions:

1. I plan to buy Yamaha RX-V467, mirage nonsat prestige speakers (front) and nano cc or os3-cc (centre).
2. I have an audition in TST and on the whole I am quite pleased with the performance because of the DSP effects but I am not really sure if its HD audio performance will really be better with only front and 1 centre speakers. I will not buy surround spks as there is no space and my wife will not let me do so...
3. Is it wise for me to buy the new set or should I just stick to my present system?

if u looking for movie sound effect, av amp & 5.1 set is a must~
