shouldn't have huge difference between filtered power bar and normal power bar, or I should say, it seems not releated to your case.
my "fake" ceiling on the kitchen also vibrate when SW turned on, the only way I can fix it is.... close the door of the kitchen... but you are open kitchen, so.... try to avoid bombing effect, eg. open the windows....
I have tried to put a thick towel under the SW, it helps abosrbing some bombing, but the puchy feeling also reduced.
