MTV3000 + HDD問題
小弟o岩o岩入手左隻2.5吋WD 320GB 既外置HDD, 插落電腦認到冇問題但係插去MTV3000就認唔到, 要用MTV format左隻HDD之後就認到同埋可以錄野
之但係再插返去電腦就認到用唔到, 我相信係FORMAT既問題, 請問各位CHING知唔知可唔可以用FAT32/NTFS既FORMAT呀
因為之前我係手指都係行FAT32,STB同埋電腦都用到, 可以錄電視,又可以o係電腦backup data... 只有 FAT32 能夠同時比 MagicTV 同 電腦用，你用MagicTV format 的話，會係 EXT3 格式，用電腦format 的話，預設係NTFS格式，所以你要手動 format 隻HDD 做 FAT32 才可以！ 回復 2# 阿定

Files will be*.ts 1. Use MTV3000 to format the drive to EXT
2. EXT is more stable than FAT32
3. If you want to view the file structure of an EXT formatted harddisk on a normal PC/laptop, you need to install a small driver to your PC/laptop.Google "EXT file viewer" and you will see a lot of choices.

I remember it should be EXT2 (instead of EXT3) if format harddisk using MagicTV.
(We can use 3rd party program to format harddisk in EXT3 format before plugging onto MagicTV).
BTW, EXT format (no matter EXT2 or EXT3) is much more stable than FAT32 when using in MagicTV {:6_238:}
We can also use 3rd party program (in PC) to see the content of harddisk using EXT2/3 format. ching what 3rd party progame you prefer? I remember it should be EXT2 (instead of EXT3) if format harddisk using MagicTV.

我都知fat32 support單一file最大係4gb, 不過前排用8gb手指錄電視劇時, 錄左5.9gb, 我當時又冇留意係咪分開左2個file tim~
今晚返屋企再check下先
